Sustainable access to clean water is one of the fundamental prerequisitesfor protecting human health and maintaining hygiene standards. Clean water remains a vital necessity, especially forcommunities living in conditions of poverty, disaster, or displacement.
As the Pikolo Association, we carry out various projects aimed ateliminating problems related to access to clean waterand helping people achieve safe living conditions.
Through our fieldwork,we install water tanks in areas where they are needed, ensuring that communities have access to clean and safe drinking water. In this way, we help maintain hygiene on both an individual and community level.

Sanitation
Sanitation conditions are just as vital as access to clean water for a healthy life.
As the Pikolo Association, we carry out initiatives aimed atpreventing the spread of infectious diseases,promoting personal hygiene, andensuring that individuals have access to dignified living conditions.
Through the projects we carry out, we support communities in living in a clean, safe, and livable environment byconstructing bathrooms andinstallingportable bathroomsandportable toiletsin areas where they are needed.

Hygiene Support
As the Pikolo Association, we run comprehensive support programs tohelp adults and children meet their basic hygiene needs.
Throughthe Health and Safety Culture Training programswe organize for children, we teach them personal hygiene habits, and we reinforce these lessonswith the hygiene kits we distribute.
Throughour General Family Education programsdesigned for adults, we raise awareness about hygiene, cleanliness, and health; by distributinghygiene kitsspecifically for families, we support them in applying what they’ve learned in their daily lives.

Adult Hygiene Kit Contents: Laundry detergent, clothesline and clothespins, liquid dish soap, dish sponge, gloves, bleach, toothbrushes and toothpaste for adults and children, shampoo, comb, soap, sanitary pads, condoms, razor, shaving cream, petroleum jelly, bath towel, hand towel, nail clippers, trash bag, bucket, measuring cup, wet wipes, cologne, disposable mask, nitrile gloves, thermometer.
Through these initiatives, we are helping individuals improve not only their physical health but alsotheir self-confidence and quality of life.

Clean water, sanitation, and hygiene are everyone’s basic right!
According to a global report prepared by the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF, 3 out of every 10 people worldwide (approximately 2.1 billion people) do not have access to safe drinking water at home.

According to United Nations data,at least 3 billion peopleworldwide lack regular access to soap and water for handwashing. This situation is leading to an increase in preventable diseases and a rise in health problems, particularly among children.
We support safe and sustainable access to water in areas where it is needed.
We conduct hygiene training and awareness-raising activities aimed at protecting public health.
We are helping to create sanitation facilities that respect human dignity.
We provide rapid hygiene and water support during disasters and crises.
We aim to reduce the risk of infectious diseases through a preventive health approach.
