Enhancing and Strengthening the Psychological Well-Being of Individuals in Disaster and Crisis Affected Areas Project
“There is a place where every child can smile again with confidence.”
The goal of the project is to help children develop the ability to cope with the negative experiences they have faced due to the earthquake and to contribute to their well-being.
In the provinces where the project is being implemented, mobile child-friendly spaces have been established for children living in neighborhoods and villages with limited access to transportation. In these spaces, psychosocial support activities are conducted under the supervision of psychologists and child protection specialists, and activities designed to improve the children’s emotional well-being are carried out.
The families of the children participating in our activities are educated on the fundamentals of children’s rights and child protection.
- Safe and supportive spaces for children affected by the earthquake
- Mobile psychosocial support services for hard-to-reach areas
- Programs focused on protection, resilience, and well-being for children and families
